About SASE Southeast Regional Conference (SERC)

SERC is back in Atlanta! Our theme for this year is “Ignite Your Dreams.”  We will celebrate the diverse backgrounds, experiences and aspirations of the attendees and emphasize the values of self-confidence and self-worth. Every year, SERC attracts over 150 college students and professionals from across the southeast region for a weekend of professional development and networking.

When is SERC 2019?

SERC will be held from Friday February 22, 2019 to Saturday February 23, 2019.

Where is SERC 2019?

SERC will be hosted in the Molecular Science and Engineering Building (901 Atlantic Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30318) on Georgia Tech Campus.

Early Bird Registration – $20

  • Open from now until 11:59 PM EST on January 23, 2019

Regular Registration – $25

  • Open from January 24, 2019 until 11:59 PM EST on February 17, 2019

Exclusive Opportunity: Lean Six Sigma White Belt Workshop with the US Navy

The US Navy will be hosting a 3 hour workshop that will conclude with attendees receiving a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification. This is a great skill to add to your resume that employers regard highly. Space is limited so register for your spot soon! Registration for this workshop will require you to have registered for conference (link above) and a $10 deposit to hold your spot. You must register be fore January 23 to secure your spot. The $10 deposit will be returned to you upon your completion of the workshop.

Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that combines the ideas of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. Lean Six Sigma relies on a collaborative team effort to improve performance by systematically removing waste and reducing variation.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing casual clothing for the social event on Friday 2/22 and business professional clothing for Saturday 2/23.

Where can I park?

The North Campus Visitor Parking Deck is right next to the Molecular Science and Engineering Building. We will be providing parking validations for this lot on the day of conference.
